‘RHOP’ Alum Katie Rost Reveals She’s Working Minimum-Wage Job After Being Released From Rehab: I Feel Like A Real Person Instead Of A Reality Tv Person
Katie Rost went from appearing on our television screens to working a normal minimum-wage job, and she has no shame about her life change!
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum revealed that she is now working a minimum-wage job after spending time in rehab. On Friday (Feb. 3) Katie Ross took to Instagram to share a selfie of herself smiling in a vitamin aisle of a store. She wrote:
“Jesus Christ , I started working , like a real job. I just got off of an 8 hour shift working minimum wage.”
The 42-year-old added:
A guy who works at a restaurant next to where I work asked if he could give me a foot massage. I feel like a real person instead of a reality tv person; I made $14 an hour,… Keepin it real”

In the comment section of her post, the former reality star shared with a fan that she works at Bethesda Co-op, an organic market in Cabin John, Maryland. This life update comes after Katie Rost participated in a 30-day rehabilitation program in October of 2022 to help with her alcohol and Adderall addiction.
The Bravo star previously shared that she’s been taking Adderall since she was 12 years old to treat her attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In a since-deleted Instagram post, she said:
“There is no shame in admitting you have been prescribed things and those things are now hurting you physically.”
The mother of three is known for formally being a part of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” cast. However, she was reportedly fired from the series ahead of the season two premiere. Since then, she has appeared as a guest a few times on the reality show.

She previously issued a public apology to “Real Housewives” executive producer Andy Cohen after calling him out back in 2019 over her absence at the show’s Season 4 reunion. In April 2022, the former model took to Instagram and said:
“I do want a job. And I swear I will totally behave.”
She added:
“I’m also sorry for my temper tantrums. I feel no thirst. I just want to work.”
