Khloé Kardashian Sued By Ex-Assistant For Alleged Unpaid Wages, Reality Star’s Lawyer Claims Former Employee Was ‘Compensated For His Role’

Khloé Kardashian is facing yet another lawsuit this month.

According to reports, the Good American founder has been served with a lawsuit from her ex-household assistant who is accusing Khloé Kardashian of firing him after he took a leave of absence due to an injury. Matthew Manhard, who began working for Khloé Kardashian in 2019, alleges he was canned from his position last November after he attempted to go back to work following his leg recovery.

Matthew Manhard claims he gave the mother of two a heads-up that he would be unable to work as a result of his injury sustained in May 2022. However, he says when he returned to work six months later, his role was terminated.

In his lawsuit, the reality star’s former assistant notes that he wasn’t granted breaks at work because his job was filled with day-to-day duties. Manhard is seeking monetary compensation and is also claiming that he wasn’t paid overtime on days he worked 12-hour shifts.

However, a rep for Kardashian is slamming those accusations. In a released statement they said:

“It’s unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to go this route. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role.”

The rep continued:

“Toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced.”

The rep added:

“We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit.”

Unfortunately, this has been the second lawsuit filed against the 38-year-old this month. As previously reported, the entrepreneur’s fashion brand Good American is being sued for over $100,000 by model Jourdan Whitehead who is claiming the company failed to pay her on time.

According to the lawsuit, Jourdan Whitehead was owed $3,500 for the one-day shoot she completed last November. Reportedly, the paycheck was supposed to arrive by December 10, 2021, but she was not paid until March 11, 2022.  The plaintiff, who listed herself in the filing as a “professional actor,” is suing the brand for a late fee and is also seeking to have Good American pay for her lawyer fees and other related legal costs.
