Wendy Williams’ Friends Worried Her New Associates ‘Will Take Advantage’ Her

Wendy Williams’ friends are looking out for her best interests.

Wendy Williams’ has been making changes in her life and her friends seem to be one of them. Despite the famed media personality battling health issues, she’s reportedly been spending time with new associates in her NYC penthouse – which her friends are concerned about, according to Page Six.

Reportedly, a source shared:

“Wendy does not have many real friends, but the few that are coming around are causing some concern for the people that do truly care about her.”

Her friends aren’t keeping an eye on Wendy Williams’ new relationships because of jealousy, however, they are worried about people she hardly knows spending time inside of her residence that contains expensive items. The source continued:

“The real concern is when she has people over her house. She has jewelry and designer purses laying around.”

As previously reported, there have been rumors of the the media mogul moving to Los Angeles in upcoming weeks and she’s decided to sell her personal items before take off. One of the things Williams is selling is her iconic purple chair, which she shared her “Hot Topic” news on her self-titled daytime television show for 13+ years before it was removed from the air due to health concerns of Graves’ disease and lymphedema.

A source close to the former radio host revealed that it wouldn’t be difficult for her new friends to take advantage of her mental health. They added:

“Wendy is not in the best state of mind so unfortunately people will take advantage of that.”

Along with the changes she’s allegedly making with her friendships, Williams, 58, is also having thoughts on walking in a different career path. As we reported last month, the New Jersey native decided she no longer wants to pursue the world of podcasting. Despite having zero episodes out at this time, she started selling merch for “The Wendy Williams Podcast” instead.

An insider addressed Williams‘ indecisive thought process and said:

“It’s strange, because she is saying there is no podcast, but is also telling people she’s going to return to TV.”

They added:

“It’s hard to figure out what is based in reality.”
