Chris Brown Reveals He Has New Music Coming Soon w/ Ciara Following Previous Backlash For Collaborating w/ Other Female Artists
CB and CiCi have new music on the way!
On Thursday (Apr. 13) afternoon, Chris Brown took to his Instagram story to announce that he and Ciara, 37, have teamed up for a new project! The singer/actor wrote:
“ME AND @ciara got some [fire emoji] coming”

The 33-year-old entertainer revealed his upcoming project with Ciara almost two months after he faced backlash for being featured on Chloe Bailey’s single “How Does It Feel,” – a track on her debut album “In Pieces.”
Chris Brown — full name Christopher Maurice Brown — defended himself against critics in February who slammed Chloe Bailey, 24, for working with him despite his infamous relationship with famed billionaire Rihanna, 35. As you may recall, he pleaded guilty to a felony for physically assaulting her back in 2009.
The “Don’t Judge Me” singer previously took to Instagram and wrote:
“IF YALL STILL HATE ME FOR A MISTAKE I MADE AS A 17year old please kiss my whole entire a**! IM F*CKING 33 ! IM SO TIRED OF YALL RUNNING WIT THIS NARRATIVE.”

Last year, Normani also faced backlash after the Grammy-Award-winning artist booked her to star as his significant other in his music video for “WE (Warm Embrace),” a track on his 10th studio album “Breezy.”
As far as his upcoming track with Ciara goes, it seems like internet users are split on how they feel. Some expressed excitement about the two vocalists working together. However, others called out Ciara for agreeing to collab with the “No Air” singer.
