Lizzo Spotted In Public For The First Time Since Getting Sued By Former Dancers Over Hostile Work Environment Allegations

Singer Lizzo appears to be back at work after she was hit with serious allegations from her former employees.

On Monday (Aug. 21) Lizzo, real name Melissa Jefferson, was spotted out for the first time since being sued by three of her former backup dancers over allegedly creating an unethical workplace, along with some other wild accusations. The “Juice” singer was photographed by paparazzi as she arrived at a recording studio in Hollywood.

In a clip shared online, Lizzo appeared to be unbothered by the lawsuit filed against her. The 35-year-old entertainer was asked by a reporter how she’s holding up in the wake of the latest controversy. Lizzo smiled and responded,

“OK. I’m good.”

Lizzo also addressed her fans by letting them know new music is on the way. She said,

“I’m in the studio right now.”

As you may recall, Lizzo is being sued by professional dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, who are accusing her of sexual harassment, body shaming, and creating a hostile work environment. In addition, the suit also accuses Lizzo (and other defendants) of religious and racial harassment, disability discrimination, assault, and false imprisonment.

According to the alleged victims, Lizzo “subjected” them to attend nude shows, where she later pressured the three ladies into provocatively touching/interacting with the on-stage performers. The women also claim that the songstress falsely accused the dancers of drinking on the job and forced them to endure an “excruciating” 12-hour rehearsal as punishment.
