Cardi B Plans To Sue Company For Using AI To Feature Her Voice In Ad For ‘Stimulus-Style Program’: ‘I Love Easy Money’

AI is being used to run ads featuring your fav celebs, and Cardi B isn’t here for it!

Recently, an ad surfaced online that seemingly stars Cardi B, 29. In the short clip, a voice that sounds eerily similar to the “Bongos” artist can be heard encouraging viewers to sign up for a “stimulus-style program” in order to (allegedly) receive large amounts of money “for free” from the government. According to the ad, the program is aimed at “helping Americans get back on their feet,” and after opting in, signees will reportedly receive a reloadable “health spending card.”

The legitimacy of the program is unclear but it didn’t take long for internet users to notice that the leading voice in the clip does, in fact, not belong to Cardi B. One person shared the questionable footage to X (formerly known as Twitter) and said,

“This is taking me out”

Cardi B then responded, revealing she plans to take legal action for her likeness being used without her permission. She replied,

“AI is crazy smh….another lawsuit that fell right on my lap…I love easy money”

Sexyy Red might also want to get her legal team on the phone as it seems the same company has stolen her likeness as well. Another ad from the company appears to feature an AI-generated version of the “SkeeYee” rapper’s voice.
