Deiondra Sanders is going to be a mom!

The 31-year-old daughter of NFL great Deion Sanders shared that she’s pregnant in an emotional Instagram post on Friday.

She shared footage of her speaking with a medical professional after having surgery to get fibroids removed. She was told her chances of getting pregnant were “pretty slim” after doctors were unable to remove all of her fibroids in her fourth operation. If she did get pregnant, it would be considered “high risk,” and she would likely not carry to term, the physician also said.

Deiondra Sanders has beaten the odds and is now pregnant, she shared on Instagram, showing off her growing baby bump. Still, the moment of joy wasn’t without uncertainty. She penned a heartfelt caption alongside her announcement and wrote,

“I never thought I’d be here but here we are. I know a lot has transpired over the last month but what hasn’t happened is me being able to tell my own truth myself! So here it is… “

“Even though this was not planned nor expected, this is still something God allowed to happen.”

Deiondra Sanders has been dating singer Jacquees, and the two hit a rough patch after his ex-girlfriend Dreezy revealed he was still trying to get back with her earlier this year. Still, it looks Deiondra and Jacquees have worked things out as they’re on vacation in St. Barths together.

Deiondra continued her post, making it clear she’s having this baby for her, not to keep “keep a man,” adding,

“I’m not having my baby to keep a man. I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to. I’m having my baby for the 4 myomectomy surgeries I have had. I am having my baby for all the years I stayed on birth control even though it gave me breast tumors. I’m having my baby for all the Doctors that told me I wouldn’t make it out the first trimester. I’m having a baby for the 7 current fibroids that surrounds my uterus to this day. I’m having a baby for all the high risk moms that was scared everyday thinking they would miscarry.”

Opening up about what she’s experienced in her pregnancy so far and shared,

“I’m keeping my baby for the 3 Months I continued to bleed everyday after I found out I was pregnant. I’m having this baby to give hope to all the other women that may be in my situation. No matter what Doctor’s say, GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY!
The miracle growing in me is not just a coincidence but a divine blessing. Welcome to my pregnancy journey.”

She ended with a scripture:

Psalm 127:3
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”
