After clarifying that she doesn’t have any standing issues with any of her former cast mates, including Cynthia Bailey who allegedly was recast in Williams spot, Leakes continued:

“I was later told that Porsha did not show up to work and had said that she did not want to work with me — that we had had issues from the past and she did not want to work with me,”

Taking a moment of silence, Leakes went on to list the many recent times she and Williams hung out without issue. She said the two had been on double dates, went to see Usher in Las Vegas together, and had visited each other’s homes. Leakes went on to express her disappointment that Williams would make such remarks to Netflix, as the situation could have potentially compromised her career. She continued

“I am shocked to hear that Porsha would go to a production company and say that she doesn’t want to work with me because we’ve had a lot of issues in the past…I haven’t been a housewife in over 4 1/2 years. Besides that as Black women, when you call a Black woman angry, difficult…that is a death trap for a Black woman.”

The celeb went on to state that Williams’ allegations are simply a “lie” and that she texted her prior to bringing the issue to the internet. According to Leakes, Williams claimed she was upset with her for not reaching out following her split from husband Simon Guobadia. If you recall, the entertainer filed for divorce from the businessman just last month.

However, Leakes doesn’t seem to be buying her story. She went on to slam Williams for not wanting to “share the spotlight”, stating:

“The bottom line is, Porsha did not want to share the spotlight. That’s it…Professionals can share the spotlight. Porsha is not a star, she is a Bravo-lebrity. Be clear.”

It does not seem that Williams has responded to Leakes‘ claims at this time.
