Big Sean Trends As Public Reacts To The Release Of His Sixth Studio Album ‘Better Me Than You’: ‘One Of His Best Projects’
Seems like fans are loving Big Sean’s new album!
Internet users have caused the Detroit native to trend recently while sharing their reactions to his new project Better Me Than You.

Big Sean’s latest studio project hit streaming platforms earlier today (Friday August 30th), and comes nearly 4 years after his fifth studio album was released. The 21 song project sees the 36-year-old tapping into a new level of freedom, and boasts features from artists such as Gunna, Teyanna Taylor, Kodak Black, and Charlie Wilson, as well as a cameo from actor/WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson .
Additionally, Big Sean dropped a number of visualizers from the project on his YouTube page, including the official music video for his single “Who You Are (Superstar),” which samples Usher’s 2004 hit of the same name. One report notes that Big Sean even showcased his comedic side on the album, opting to include Ray J’s infamous 2011 call into The Breakfast Club during his beef with Fabolous on the a song that also samples Tupac’s “I Ain’t Mad at Cha.”
Reacting to the album, many fans celebrated Big Sean’s writing, creativity, and cohesiveness and touted their favorite listens thus far. There were a few, however, that expressed their indifference about the music.

Days before the album’s release, Big Sean was overrun with emotion while opening up about creating the project and the many obstacles he faced while doing so. If you recall earlier this year, the musician shot down rumors that his former label boss Kanye West has behind his music being leaked, which he explained caused multiple delays in the project.

Speaking about pressing forward, Big Sean stated during the recent live session:
“It gets hard, your faith gets tested… when you make art and you put your heart into this sh*t,”
He added:
“I don’t really try to read into what people ever say… its hard because you do care about your sh*t…”
The rapper seems to be in much better spirits, however, as he took to his Instagram stories to celebrate with loved ones and supporters the release of his new project.
