Fatman Scoop ‘Celebration Of Life’ Ceremony To Take Place At Harlem Apollo Theater
Fans will have a chance to say their final goodbyes to Fatman Scoop soon.
Earlier today (Sep. 10th) a post was shared to the late rapper’s Instagram page informing the public about his “Celebration of Life” ceremony scheduled for Thursday (Sep. 12th). The event will take place at Harlem’s Apollo Theater from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Per the post, tickets for the event went on sale today and are available at www.apollotheater.org. As previously reported, Fatman Scoop, born Isaac Freeman III, sadly passed away on August 30 after collapsing onstage during a performance in Connecticut. His family confirmed his passing via a post shared online. In part, the statement read,
“It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of the legendary and iconic FatMan Scoop. Last night, the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life.”
