Jimmy Kimmel first referenced a previous story that Michael Jackson asked Halle Berry out on a date, but used Babyface as his wingman. Halle Berry played coy when it came to confirming it was true and said,
“I don’t know but I know Prince asked me out on a date.”
Detailing how Prince did it, Halle Berry said it was “sort of” in person. She added,
“I was at one of his concerts on Sunset, the Key Club. And he had somebody come out with a piece of paper. And you know how kids do, do you like me, yes or no? I went ‘Yes!’ I mean, I’m at his concert right? Yes!”
She said Prince then came back out and officially asked her on a date.
Though it’s clear Halle Berry and Prince were never a hot item, it’s safe to say she’s happy with her longtime boyfriend, musician Van Hunt.
In fact, she recently revealed being with Van Hunt was
“the first time I was madly in love before I had sex.”

She continued,
“That has never happened to me, ever…Talk about one of those life-changing, beautiful experiences. It was magical, just magical.”
