Tia Mowry Explains Her ‘Not Close’ Comment About Twin Sister Tamera: ‘I Love My Sister, We Have A Beautiful Connection’
Tia Mowry is clearing the air about her relationship with Tamera Mowry.
Over the weekend, Tia Mowry made waves when she expressed on her new WeTV docuseries Tia Mowry: My Next Act that she wished she and Tamera Mowry “were still close.” She shared, “[I wish] I could pick up the phone and call her, but that’s just not where we are right now,” leaving fans speculating about their bond.
However, in a recent interview with Us Weekly, Tia Mowry clarified that the comment wasn’t about any rift but the physical distance between them.
“I feel like as we grow up, we all start our own families… and take on new roles and responsibilities. In these transitions in life, sometimes you just want a hug, and that is not the case. It’s called life.”
While Tia lives in LA, Tamera Mowry is settled in Napa with her family.
Tia added,
“I love my sister very much. We have a closeness and a beautiful connection. It’s just how life unfolds.”
Catch Tia Mowry: My Next Act premiering on Oct. 4 on #WeTV.
