Lil Durk In ‘Great Spirits’ Despite Hating Jail Food As He Prepares To Plead Not Guilty In Murder-For-Hire Case
Sources close to Chicago rapper Lil Durk say he’s keeping a positive attitude amid his arrest on murder-for-hire charges.
TMZ reports that the 32-year-old remains in “great spirits” while going through processing at the Federal Detention Center in Miami, though he reportedly hates the jail food.
The source added that Durk has already garnered rapport with the prison’s staff and his fellow inmates, with those who’ve come in contact with him describing him as as “super charming” and “agreeable.”

Lil Durk, full name Durk Devontay Banks, was arrested by US Marshals in Miami last week while attempting to board a flight to Italy. He stands accused of placing a “monetary bounty out for an individual with whom Banks was feuding,” allegedly attempting to assassinate his rap rival Quando Rando in a shootout that took the life of his cousin instead.
The report notes that Lil Durk is planning to enter a plea of not guilty for the charges and is still waiting for his arraignment.
