Gayle King Speaks On Megan Thee Stallion Lying About Sleeping w/ Tory Lanez: ‘It Was The First Time Telling Her Story’
Gayle King is unbothered.
TMZ caught up with the longtime TV personality Tuesday (November 5), and asked her about Megan Thee Stallion‘s recent confession that she lied to Gayle King about sleeping with Tory Lanez.
Megan Thee Stallion denied having a sexual relationship with Tory Lanez during an interview with Gayle King in 2022, two years after Tory Lanez shot her in the foot. In her Prime Video documentary In Her Words, Megan confessed that she lied about sleeping with Tory because she was caught off guard.
In Megan Thee Stallion’s defense, Gayle said,
“It was the first time telling her story. And it bothered me that so many people didn’t believe her story. That bothered me. So I wanted to get from her first hand. Why she said what she said to me is really on her.”
She added,
“I still am nuts about her. I think she’s been through a lot. And I can’t wait to see her documentary. She was under the gun and I thought, undeservingly so. I have no controversy with Megan. I’m cheering her on.”
