Lawyers For Photographer Suing Megan Thee Stallion Could Face Sanctions After Missing Pre-Trial Conference
Attorneys representing Megan Thee Stallion’s former photographer Emilio Garcia have some explaining to do.
According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, lawyers representing Garcia in his harassment lawsuit against Meg failed to show up for a pre-trial conference last week in Manhattan federal court. As a result, they’re now facing possible sanctions. The judge has ordered the lawyers to submit an explanation by Tuesday, detailing why they shouldn’t be penalized.
Garcia filed the lawsuit back in April, accusing Meg of harassment following an alleged incident in Ibiza, Spain. Garcia claims he was trapped in a moving vehicle while Meg had sex with a woman and was allegedly told, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” He also accuses the rapper of fat-shaming and treating him poorly afterward.
Another conference is already scheduled for November 18th, where the case will continue to unfold.
