After he shared a clip of Tory Lanez recording a verse for him from behind bars, some slammed the rapper for working with the Canadian artist.

In 2003, Lanez was sentenced to ten years in prison after being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. He was found guilty of first-degree assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
DDG has yet to react to some of the criticism.
