Dr. Dre Wants Judge To Dismiss $10 Million Harassment Lawsuit Filed By His Former Therapist
Dr. Dre is pushing back against a $10 million harassment lawsuit filed by psychiatrist Charles Sophy, who worked on Dr. Dre’s divorce, denying all allegations of wrongdoing and asking the court to dismiss the case.
Charles Sophy accused Dr. Dre of a “nearly year-long sustained campaign” of threatening late-night texts, intimidation, and homophobic language.
While Dr. Dre previously admitted to using “colorful language” in some text messages, his lawyer argues that Charles Sophy’s own actions contributed to the situation.
While Sophy was granted a temporary restraining order, a judge later denied a permanent one due to lack of evidence. The civil lawsuit is ongoing.
