D.C. News Anchor Tony Perkins Shares Update On His Prostate Cancer Diagnosis, Urges Black Men To Prioritize Their Health
Tony Perkins is encouraging Black men to prioritize their health while sharing an update on his prostate cancer diagnosis.
During a recent segment on NBC4 Washington, the morning co-anchor promoted Men Take Ten, a program by the Howard University Cancer Center that educates the public on the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer and encourages men to stay on top of their yearly screenings.

Toward the end of the segment, Tony revealed that he will undergo prostate surgery next month and take a few weeks off from the anchor desk to recover.
