Kate Middleton Shares Her Cancer Is In Remission: ‘It Is A Relief’
Great news from Buckingham Palace!
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, recently shared that her cancer is in remission, less than a year after revealing her diagnosis to the world.
In a post uploaded to X earlier today (Jan. 14), Kate wrote:
“I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year… It is a relief to now be in remission, and I remain focused on recovery.”
Kate first revealed her illness in March of last year and shared her plans to undergo chemotherapy. Her latest health update comes as she made a surprise visit to The Royal Marsden, where she was treated, to visit patients and staff while sharing her own experience with chemotherapy.

Elsewhere in the post, the wife of Prince William and mother of three young children expressed her intention to support the care facility in their “groundbreaking research,” and promote “patient and family wellbeing.”
She also thanked “all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me,” ending the post with her middle initial, “C,” indicating that the message was a personal note from herself.
