Luenell Says Wendy Williams Sounds ‘Great’ & Is ‘Clearly Sober’ Amid Guardianship Battle
Luenell is sharing an optimistic update on Wendy Williams’ health amid her ongoing guardianship battle.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Luenell opened up about her conversation with Wendy Williams, revealing,
“I talked to Wendy today. She sounded like the old Wendy. She sounded fine. She sounded great. Clearly, she’s clean and sober. She’s anxious to get out.”
Luenell also expressed her frustration with Wendy Williams’ guardianship, stating,
“The law should be changed. This is like an incarceration.”
Wendy has been under court-ordered guardianship since May 2022 due to multiple health challenges. While Wendy’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has described her as “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” Wendy’s family and friends have publicly disputed these claims. They’ve recently joined her on a press tour to speak out against the guardianship, and have launched a GoFundMe to help cover legal costs in the ongoing fight.
