Roshon Fegan Recalls ‘Shake It Up’ Co-Star Bella Thorne Slapping Him On Set: ‘She Smacked The Sh*t Outta Me’
Things got a little wild on the set of Shake It Up.
In a recent interview with popular TikToker Fannita Leggett, Roshon Fegan recalled the time his then-co-star Bella Thorne “smacked the sh*t” outta him. When the Disney sitcom premiered, the series stars — Bella Thorne (who played CeCe Jones) and Zendaya (who played Rocky Blue) were roughly 13/14, and Roshon was in his late teens/early 20s.”
According to Roshon, (who played Ty Blue), it was his first time working with actors so much younger and it was “kinda weird” at first. However, he quickly developed a brother-sister relationship with Zendaya, and said Bella came in with a “different energy,” but he still loved her.

Speaking on the dynamics with Bella, Roshon recalled a time on set when they were goofing around, “cracking jokes,” and Bella unexpectedly hit him. He said,
“She smacked the sh*t outta me.”
When a shocked Fannita asked, “She hit you?” He said again,
“No, she smacked the sh*t outta me.”
He continued, claiming Bella was laughing after the hit but he froze.
Roshon added,
“I wanted to snatch her up, but I tried to keep it P, I try to keep it old man, but I did tell her, ‘Look little girl, I f*ck with you, but you ever do that sh*t again, we gon’ have some real issues.”

In the clip, Roshon didn’t explain what set Bella off, but he did note after he told her to keep her hands to herself they were “best friends” from that day on.
