Cristina Payne Claims Fellow Comedian Corey Holcomb Is Lying About Their Physical Altercation: The Story Is Being Completely Flipped’
Cristina Payne is setting the record straight after fellow comedian Corey Holcomb claimed she punched him outside the Hollywood Improv.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Cristina clarified,
“The story is being completely flipped from the truth. I’m hearing that I’m the attacker now. There are witnesses who saw what happened. The footage shows Corey Holcomb reaching over two people and punching me. It’s horrible.”
Cristina also explained why she believes Corey is lying, saying,
“He doesn’t want to get in trouble, and he just got put on a new tour. There’s money to be made, and I guess he doesn’t want to lose it.”

In December, witnesses claimed Corey approached Cristina and her friend outside the Hollywood Improv, where he threatened to punch her. When a man intervened, Corey allegedly swung over him and struck Cristina in the face. Following a brief scuffle, Corey reportedly fled the scene.
Shortly after, Corey claimed he was the one who was punched and filed for a restraining order against Cristina, but his request was denied.
The feud between Cristina Payne and Corey Holcomb goes back 12 years. At that time, Corey reportedly asked Cristina to be his co-host on his radio show. Cristina flew out to meet him, and Corey arranged a hotel room for her. However, things took a turn when he allegedly became upset after she refused to let him come upstairs. Cristina said wanted to have sex, but she declined, stating that she doesn’t engage with married men.
A hearing for their case is scheduled for next month.
