Actress Christy Carlson Romano Says She’s ‘Grateful To Be Alive’ After Being Sh*t In The Face During Husband’s Birthday Trip
Christy Carlson Romano is expressing gratitude after a terrifying accident left her injured while celebrating her husband’s birthday.
The Kim Possible voice actress shared a video on Instagram, showing the bruising around her eye and explaining what happened:
“Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and I took him to sh**t clay pigeons as a present. There was another party with us and they unsafely fired in the wrong direction and sh*t me in the face.”
She continued,
“[My husband] immediately sprung into action, assessed me, and rushed me to the hospital. I was hit in 5 places, one was less than an inch from hitting me directly in my right eye.”

Romano revealed that a fragment from the sh*t lodged behind her eye, and while doctors are monitoring the situation, it’s too risky to remove it surgically at this time.
Reflecting on her gratitude for being alive, she shared,
“With everything that happened, all I can think about is how grateful I am to be here. I love my daughters, husband, family, and friends so much. I saw my life flash before my eyes, and I’m telling you, hug the people around you every chance you get. Life can change in an instant. ?”
Wishing Christy a speedy recovery!
