Sheryl Lee Ralph Has No Plans To Retire: ‘I’m Betty White Black’
Sheryl Lee Ralph isn’t walking away from acting anytime soon.
The legendary actress, 68, recently told Bevy Smith why she has zero plans to retire.
“Honey please, I’m Betty White Black,” the “Abbott Elementary” star said when asked if she wants to work for the rest of her life. Her answer referenced iconic star Betty White, who worked until she died in late 2021, just days before she turned 100.
“As long as I am able to create, as long as I am able to be hired, why should I not carry on and do what I love to do?” Sheryl Lee Ralph continued.
She added:
“One of the quickest ways to lose your mind and sense of self is to stop doing what you love.”
