‘Tiger King’ Star Joe Exotic Marries Fellow Inmate He Met While Serving 21-Year M#rder-For-Hire Sentence
Joe Exotic is officially off the market!
The Tiger King star—real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage—announced earlier today (April 21) that he’s tied the knot with fellow inmate Jorge Flores Maldonado. The couple reportedly got engaged back in October, and it looks like their love behind bars is still going strong.
In a post shared to X, Joe gushed:
“Never been more proud of someone. Meet my husband Jorge Flores Maldonado.”
Reports say Joe, 62, met Jorge, 33, while serving time. As fans know, Joe is currently doing 21 years for plotting to have animal rights activist Carole Baskin killed—a wild story that gained national attention thanks to Netflix’s Tiger King.

Just last week, Joe shared a heartfelt post about Jorge, asking President Trump to grant them both pardons. Alongside photos of himself with his now-husband, Joe wrote:
“He has gotten me through so much fighting cancer under these conditions. All I pray to God for is Trump [to] allow me to enjoy a little life outside with him before it’s too late. I love you Jorge, you are my life. @realdonaldtrump.”
Big congrats to the newlyweds!
