Shannon Sharpe’s representatives assert that his interactions with his r*pe accuser were consensual BDSM encounters, happening around 100 times between late 2022 and January 2025.
For those who don’t know, BDSM is a s*xual practice that involves consensual activities focused on bondage, dominance, submission, and sadomasochism.
Sources close to Shannon Sharpe told TMZ that the relationship, which involved rough s*x like chok*ng and role-playing, was entirely consensual. They claim it was the accuser, an OnlyFans model, who often initiated and requested these acts, including texts where she detailed her desires, such as asking to be tied up.
The sources emphasize that their connection never evolved beyond a BDSM dynamic, never becoming a romantic relationship.
In contrast, the accuser’s lawsuit, filed in April 2025, claims Shannon Sharpe crossed boundaries in October 2024 and January 2025, particularly when he allegedly ignored her request to use a condom. Her attorney, Tony Buzbee, rejected Sharpe’s defense, emphasizing that “no means no,” as shown in text messages she sent to Sharpe. She is seeking $50 million in damages.
