According to Tracee Ellis Ross, chemistry isn’t always a must-have in a loving relationship.

During her viral interview on Michelle Obama’s IMO Podcast, the 52-year-old actress opened up about the role of passionate physical energy in romance, saying:
“I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older that chemistry is not a relationship… and love does not always include chemistry.”
Ross went on to say that while she personally wants both love and chemistry, it’s crucial for people to recognize their own preferences to avoid ending up with someone they’re not actually compatible with.
