Woman Who Called Child The N-Word Raises Over $650,000 Online To Relocate
Shiloh Hendrix, a Minnesota woman who went viral after calling a child the N-word on a playground, has raised over $650,000 in an online fundraising campaign that she says will help her relocate.
Shiloh Hendrix received backlash over the weekend after the video gained traction and went viral. In the clip, she was confronted about calling a child the N-word. She responded by admitting she used the racial slur after the 5-year-old, who has autism, allegedly went through her bag. She justified it and said he was “acting like” one.
Shiloh Hendrix now says she is the victim of an attack, her family is in jeopardy and she is being forced to move.
As of this writing, her campaign has raised over $650,000. Her goal is $1 million.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe has been launched to fight racism and support the NAACP after the incident. It has raised over $2,000 of its $350,000 goal so far.
