Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Case Faces Setback As Prosecutors Lose Contact w/ Key Witness
One witness expected to testify against Sean “Diddy” Combs in his sex trafficking trial is reportedly missing, according to new court disclosures.
During a jury selection hearing on May 7, prosecutors informed the judge that a witness, referred to as “Victim-3,” has been unresponsive to communication efforts from them and her legal team. In addition, her attorney is allegedly dealing with undisclosed “personal issues,” further complicating efforts to locate her.
A member of the prosecution team reportedly stated:
“We do not know whether she intends to appear, and we are trying very hard to find out because we are having trouble communicating with her counsel.”
They added that she does not live in the area and may fail to appear even if subpoenaed.

Victim-3 was expected to provide testimony alleging that Diddy “sexually exploited” her through coercion. Just last week, she reportedly confirmed to prosecutors that she would testify under her real name, not anonymously. Three additional women, including two anonymous witnesses and Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, are expected to testify.
A fifth woman will also be allowed to take the stand, despite Diddy not facing charges related to her allegations. The judge is reportedly allowing her testimony due to her account of coerced sex aligning closely with other alleged victims.
Diddy is facing multiple federal charges, including sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, and obstruction of justice. Jury selection is expected to conclude by Friday (May 9), with opening statements slated to begin on Monday (May 12).
