Lil Durk Denied Bail In Murder-For-Hire Case, Judge Says Nothing Has Changed To Warrant Release
Lil Durk will remain behind bars as he awaits trial in his murder-for-hire case.
During a court hearing on Thursday (May 8), a judge denied Durk’s request for bond, stating there was nothing new to justify his release. The judge also said Durk violated jail rules by using other inmates’ phone accounts and having three-way calls.
His legal team argued that the prosecution’s case relies heavily on weak evidence, including fan-made internet posts and lyrics. They pushed for a dismissal or at least bond, but the judge ultimately sided with prosecutors.

If you recall, prosecutors allege Durk orchestrated the 2022 hit on Quando Rondo in Los Angeles as retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von. The incident resulted in the death of Rondo’s cousin.
Durk has denied all allegations, with his trial scheduled to begin on October 14.
Are you shocked that Durk wasn’t granted bond?
