In an interview with Good Morning America that aired earlier today (May 16), the 73-year-old addressed the viral rumors claiming Hudson, 24, had been banned from UNC’s athletic facilities. Belichick firmly denied the claims, clarifying that Hudson has no professional ties to the school or his position there. He stated:
“She’s been terrific through the whole process and she’s been very helpful to me,”
He continued:
“She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football, and that’s really what I want to do.”
The couple’s relationship became public earlier this year, drawing attention due to their significant age difference and Hudson’s background as a former pageant contestant and entrepreneur. She’s been spotted supporting Belichick at several events, sparking curiosity about her level of involvement in his coaching career.
Last week, online reports claimed Jordon had been barred from UNC’s football facilities over concerns about her presence and proximity to Belichick’s work. The school quickly responded with a statement denying those rumors, saying:
“Jordon Hudson is welcome on campus and at any of our athletic facilities.”
