On their podcast ReLiving Single, Kim Coles and Erika Alexander confirmed that the theme song for Living Single was written and performed by Queen Latifah.
However, there has been a long-running rumor about the woman shown only as a silhouette dancing under a bridge during the opening credits. Many fans believed it was Erika Alexander, but she clarified that it wasn’t her. The silhouette actually belongs to dancer and choreographer Leslie Segar, also known as “Big Lez.”
