A new documentary is shedding light on a dramatic moment in Wendy Williams’ ongoing health battle. “TRAPPED: What Is Happening to Wendy Williams?,” which premiered May 19 on the ID Channel, claims the former daytime host was moved to a memory care floor after sneaking up to a rooftop bar on her 60th birthday for a drinking binge.

“Wendy was on the third floor… and on her birthday, she decided to get in the elevator… it went all the way up to the rooftop bar,” said journalist Diane Dimond. “She ordered a drink, and then another one, and another… she got drunk, she had a relapse.”
That incident reportedly led to her being transferred to a locked memory unit. “Her treatment is to be sent to a much more restrictive ward,” Dimond added.
