South Florida Woman Faces Grand Theft Charges After Allegedly Drugging Men & Stealing Their Rolex Watches

Angelina Esty, a 25-year-old woman from Pompano Beach, was arrested Monday (May 19) after allegedly targeting three men across South Florida in a string of high-end jewelry thefts.

On March 11, a man said he met Esty at E11evenMiami and brought her to his Doral apartment. After a few drinks, he claimed he became “very sick” and passed out. When he woke up, both Esty and his Rolex were gone. Surveillance video showed her leaving in an Uber.

On March 22 in Brickell, a man met two women at Blackbird and invited them to his apartment. He said after drinking with them, he went to bed with one while the other stayed in the living room. When he woke up, both were gone along with his $11K Rolex, $8K in cash, and designer sunglasses. Police say a purse, shoes, and Esty’s ID were left behind.

The final incident happened on April 21 at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. A man told police Esty approached him in the lobby, then went to his hotel room, where he accepted a drink, removed his Rolex and bracelet, and fell asleep. He woke up to find her and the $30K in jewelry missing. Detectives say security footage and a photo lineup confirmed her identity.

Esty faces multiple grand theft and burglary charges.
