T.I.’s Defamation Lawsuit Against Former Friend Sabrina Peterson Over G*n & S*x Trafficking Claims Gets 2026 Trial Date
A trial date has been set for T.I’s defamation lawsuit against Sabrina Peterson.
If you recall, their legal battle began in 2021 when Peterson sued both T.I. and Tiny for defamation, invasion of privacy, and emotional distress. She alleged that T.I. pointed a gun at her and that he was under federal investigation for s*x trafficking.
By June 2023, five of her seven claims were tossed out, and the lawsuit was eventually dismissed due to inactivity and nonpayment of nearly $100,000 in court-ordered legal fees.
T.I. filed his own lawsuit in December 2024, claiming her allegations were false, damaging, and invaded his privacy.
Before trial, both sides must attend a private settlement conference by November 24, 2025. If no agreement is reached, trial begins in June 2026.
