Lil Uzi Vert Sued Again Over Alleged Assault Involving Entourage
Lil Uzi Vert is facing a second lawsuit tied to an alleged 2023 assault in New York.
Abdullah Ali has filed a new complaint in Philadelphia, claiming he was attacked by Uzi and up to 10 associates after taking a photo of a Rolls-Royce parked in a trailer branded with Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team. Ali claimed a “verbal exchange” turned physical, leaving him with a shoulder injury that required surgery and several lost teeth.

Last year, Ali sued Uzi and Mayweather in New York, but a judge dismissed Uzi from the case, citing a lack of evidence tying him to the assault and ruling that New York was not the proper jurisdiction.
Still, Ali’s team is pressing forward. Attorney Corey Morgenstern said the new suit is “not about who threw each punch,” and insisted Uzi was there. Uzi’s lawyer, Joanna Menillo, called the case “frivolous from the start, with absolutely no evidence of any involvement.”
