Chris Brown Faces 2 New Charges In London Nightclub A$$ault Case, Pleads Not Guilty
Chris Brown is still battling legal trouble overseas. The singer returned to London’s Southwark Crown Court today and pleaded not guilty to two additional charges tied to a 2023 assault case.

Prosecutors allege that Brown attacked music producer Abraham Diaw with a tequila bottle at Tape nightclub in February 2023, then continued hitting and kicking him while he was on the floor. The alleged altercation was reportedly captured on CCTV.

In May, Brown was briefly held in custody after being arrested in Manchester on a warrant. He was later released on bail set at £5 million (roughly $6.35 million USD) and permitted to continue his world tour under strict conditions.

These new charges include assault causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, both connected to that same nightclub incident. His trial is scheduled to begin in October 2026.
