SZA Criticizes The Use Of AI, Says It’s ‘Killing & Polluting Black & Brown Cities’
SZA is clearly not a fan of the way artificial intelligence is being used these days.
The 35-year-old songstress took to her Instagram Story to share a critical post about AI, writing:
“AI is killing and polluting Black and Brown cities. None of you care ’cause you’re codependent on a machine. Have a great life.”

While she didn’t elaborate further on what sparked the post, her comments come amid growing criticism of AI in the music industry. Producer Timbaland recently faced backlash for launching an AI music company featuring non-human artists, and even had to apologize for using a producer’s beat without permission for one of his AI tools.
Do you agree with SZA’s take on AI?
