Skai Jackson’s Child’s Father Deondre Burgin Arrested During Car Wash Over Missed Court Date & Outstanding Warrant

Skai Jackson’s Child’s Father Deondre Burgin Arrested During Car Wash Over Missed Court Date & Outstanding Warrant
Deondre Burgin, father of Skai Jackson’s baby, found himself back in police custody after being arrested at a Kentucky gas station—right in the middle of washing a car he allegedly shouldn’t have been driving.
According to the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, officers ran a plate check as they passed the station on July 14 and discovered an active warrant out of Hamilton County, Ohio. That warrant stemmed from a March 6 traffic stop near Cincinnati, where Burgin was cited for failing to reinstate his license and improperly displaying his plate. After missing his court date on May 5, a warrant was issued two days later.
Burgin’s legal drama doesn’t stop there. In May, Skai Jackson filed for a restraining order in Los Angeles, alleging Burgin attacked her while she held their 3-month-old son, Kasai. She claimed he had abused her weekly for months in 2024.
Adding to the timeline, Burgin was also serving a 90-day sentence for a parole violation when Kasai was born in January.
