New Details Emerge In Drowning Death Of ‘The Cosby Show’ Star Malcolm-Jamal Warner
New details emerge in the death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner.
According to the Red Cross, the 54-year-old actor was on vacation in Limón, Costa Rica, when he and another man were swept away by a current at the beach. Despite bystanders’ efforts to save him, Warner had no pulse by the time authorities arrived. A first responder told reporters that the other man was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The official cause of death was confirmed as “asphyxiation by submersion.”

This update comes days after Warner’s sudden death shocked fans and the entertainment world. He was best known for his iconic role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show.
