‘Euphoria’ Star Colman Domingo Recalls Nearly Joining A Cult By Accident During Visit To Mexico City
Colman Domingo recently opened up about a surprising experience, almost joining a cult without realizing it.
The Oscar-nominated star appeared on the Mythical Kitchen: Last Meals podcast recently, where he discussed everything from Hollywood’s elite habits to bizarre personal moments. During the conversation, the host mentioned how some celebrities seem to be living in isolation, almost in a “cult-like” fashion.
Colman responded by sharing his personal experience with cult groups, saying: “I almost joined a cult in Mexico City, but that’s another story.

Going on to explain how the situation went down, he continued: “It was like, it was just a group of nice people. And then I was like, wait a minute, this is weird. I was like, what’s up with you guys? Yeah, this is my first encounter. But as I did research and found out more about them, I’m like, ‘oh, that’s a cult.'”
After the host joked that they still “should join” the cult, Colman playfully replied, referencing the podcast itself: “Is this a cult? It might be.”
