UPDATE: Identity Of Man Accused Of Killing Comedian Reggie Carroll Has Been Revealed
Update: (Aug 25, 2025): The identity of the man accused of fatally shooting comedian Reggie Carroll has been revealed.
38-year-old Tranell Williams has been named as the main suspect in the unfortunate death of Reggie. Williams was arrested and booked for the murder on Thursday (Aug. 21). As reported,Reggie Carroll was shot and killed on Wednesday evening (Aug. 20) in Southaven, Mississippi, according to TMZ. He was 52 at the time of his passing. More details, such as a motive, have yet to be released.

Comedian Reggie Carroll was $hot and k*lled in Southaven, Mississippi on Wednesday evening (Aug. 20), according to TMZ.
Police were called after $hots were fired and when they arrived, Carroll had been seriously injured. First responders attempted to save his life however they were unfortunately successful.
Carroll was 52 years old.
A suspect is in custody and has been charged.
Mo’Nique paid tribute and remembered her and Carroll touring together, per the outlet.
