Along with his fans, loved ones, and co-stars, including Black Panther’s Letitia Wright and Michael B. Jordan, today TJB remembers the unforgettable Chadwick Boseman on the anniversary of his passing (November 29, 1976 – August 28, 2020).
Best known for his role as King T’Challa in Black Panther, Chadwick became a global symbol of strength, dignity, and Black excellence. His unexpected passing after a private battle with colon cancer shocked the world, but his legacy only continues to grow.

From portraying icons like Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall to redefining what a superhero could look like, Chadwick brought every role to life with power, grace, and purpose.
Beyond the screen, he was known for his humility, wisdom, and commitment to uplifting his community, which was reflected in many of his interviews and passionate speeches. His presence was a gift, and his impact is eternal.
Five years later, we still feel his absence, but his spirit lives on through the stories he told and the lives he touched.
