Second Man Found Hanging From Tree In Mississippi, Authorities Say There’s No Relation To Incident On Delta State Campus

On Monday (Sept. 15), Cory Zukatis, a 36-year-old man from Brandon, Mississippi, was found hanging in a wooded area near the Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg. The Vicksburg Police Department responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. and has since shared that there is no evidence of foul play.

Authorities also said this incident is not related to the earlier de@th of #DeltaState University student Demartravion “Trey” Reed, who was found hanging from a tree on the university’s campus the same day. Both cases are under investigation.
