The British celebrity chef and restaurateur’s Bel-Air mansion was the target of a “swatting” hoax on Monday evening (Sept. 22). A caller, pretending to be Gordon, falsely reported a sh**ting at the residence, claiming to have sh*t his brother and nephew and said he was armed with a black revolver. The caller also alleged he was using hero!n and refusing to leave the house.
#LAPD responded around 8 PM but found no evidence of a crime upon arrival. Gordon was not at home at the time; a personal assistant present at the property confirmed no incident had occurred. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the false report, though no arrests have been made at this time. This incident follows a similar swatting event in April, where a prankster falsely reported a sh**ting at Gordon’s home.
