After a South African pastor’s religious prediction went viral, many took to TikTok and other social media to show how they were letting go of their personal belongings in preparation for the end of the world.

While #SherriShepherd didn’t believe the rapture was coming on September 23, she once fell for the “okey-doke.” In a recent episode of her talk series, Sherri recalled how her belief that the world was ending years ago led her to stop paying bills, taxes, and traffic tickets.
