Boosie Enlists Lobbyists To Help Seek Presidential Pardon From Donald Trump After Federal G*n Case Plea
Boosie is making political moves in hopes of clearing his name.
The Baton Rouge rapper has reportedly hired lobbyists to appeal directly to Donald Trump for a presidential pardon in his federal g*n case.
According to LegiStorm and Complex, Boosie enlisted J.M. Burkman & Associates, led by Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl, to advocate on his behalf after he accepted a plea deal earlier this year.
Boosie was arrested in San Diego in May 2023, where police discovered two firea*ms during a traffic stop. Though his case was once dismissed, federal prosecutors refiled the charges.
Boosie has publicly urged Trump to review his case, arguing that he was unfairly recharged and targeted for his outspoken personality.
What are your thoughts on Boosie’s latest move?
