Sherri Shepherd Says ‘I Can’t Help You Build’ As She Warns Young Women Not To Stay w/ A Man For His ‘Potential‘

#SherriShepherd has a message for all the girlies in their dating era.

In a new interview with #AngieMartinez for her IRL podcast series, Sherri advised young women not to stay with a man simply because of the “potential” they may see in him. The TV talk host noted that this is something she’s done many times before, while in her 20s, 30s, and 40s, but now, at 58, she approaches romantic relationships differently. “I know who I am,” she said, “I don’t want to waste your time — I don’t want you to waste my time.”

“That sounds wonderful … but at this stage where I am, I can’t help you build,” Sherri continued, before expressing frustrations that can come when that potential isn’t fulfilled.
