TikTok Star ‘Boss & CEO’ Mainly Mannie Reveals HIV Diagnosis In Emotional Video From Hospital Bed: My Ex Gave Me This & I Didn’t Know
TikTok star #MainlyMannie, known as “Boss and CEO” to his 1.4 million followers, has revealed he is HIV positive in an emotional video filmed from his hospital bed.
He disclosed that he was diagnosed in the summer after experiencing sudden mobility issues. Mannie shared that he contracted the virus from his ex-partner but emphasized he does not see himself as a victim. Despite the challenges, he expressed optimism about his future and posted another video showing fans his journey of learning how to walk again.
The cost of his medication, approximately $4,000 per month, prompted Mannie to launch a #GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser has already garnered over $12,00 toward its $18,000 goal. He plans to use part of the funds to support HIV-related charities.
