Exciting news alert!
#NiaLong and #LarenzTate are reuniting in a new romantic drama, now greenlit by Netflix and directed by Eugene Ashe, the filmmaker behind 2020’s Sylvie’s Love. Details are limited at this time, as the film’s logline has not yet been revealed. However, Deadline reports that the untitled project is inspired by #Maxwell’s debut album, Urban Hang Suite. Nia and Larenz are also serving as executive producers.
If you can’t wait for this drop, you can see the pair in Lionsgate’s highly anticipated #MichaelJackson biopic Michael, where Nia portrays Katherine Jackson and Larenz plays Berry Gordy. It’s slated for release on April 24, 2026.
